GLP-1 Medications
Popular GLP-1 medications, including semaglutide and tirzepatide, are compounded with glycine and vitamin B12 to support efficacy and muscle preservation, helping you get the most out of your weight loss medication.
Personalized Treatment
Your provider will recommend the right medication and dosage based on your health history, goals, and response to treatment.
Other medications, including Contrave, Phentermine, and Qsymia, may also be considered when medically appropriate.
Our Medical Weight Loss Program is designed to help a broad range of patients.
Benefits of weight loss medication
Are GLP-1 Medications Right for right for me?
GLP-1 medications aren't appropriate for everyone. Your provider will review your medical history before prescribing treatment. Particular caution may be necessary for patients with certain medical histories, including multiple endocrine neoplasia, pancreatitis, or previous intolerance to GLP-1 medications.
The best way to determine whether medical weight loss is appropriate for you is to request a consultation with our team.
If you’ve had gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, LAP-BAND®, or another bariatric procedure and would like additional support reaching your weight loss goals, medication may be an option.
At Olde Del Mar Surgical, we help bariatric patients explore medical weight loss options and determine the appropriate medication, dosage, and follow-up plan based on their individual needs and goals.
Whether you’ve experienced weight regain, hit a plateau, or simply haven’t reached the weight you hoped to achieve, our team can help you understand your options and determine the next step.
