We accept most insurance plans. Patients with Medicare, Tricare, PPO plans, or those paying out of pocket do not need a referral to schedule an appointment; they can Request an Appointment with our office to schedule at any time.
Patients with HMO insurance plans will need a referral from their Primary Care Physician to schedule an appointment. The referral can be faxed to us at (858) 646-0017.

Our team can then verify if we are in network with your insurance plan and if your plan has bariatric benefits.
If you do not have insurance, our consultation fee is $195.
For patients who do not have insurance or funds immediately available, we have an established relationship with Prosper Healthcare Lending, a third-party surgery financing agency. Once you and your surgeon decide on the type of surgery you need, our staff will be happy to assist you with getting your surgery financing in order.

Although healthcare is undoubtedly expensive, hospitals are often willing to offer substantial discounts if all fees are paid in advance. We can leverage our relationships with hospitals to offer patients competitive and affordable prices, at a time when they need to focus more on their health than the financial burdens of health care.
Given all the complexities of putting together a fee for your surgery financing, it is best to wait until you have seen the surgeon before we advocate a price with the hospital on your behalf. We do not mark up prices. We pass 100% of the cost savings on to you.
