Meet Dr. Emanual Shapera

BOARD CERTIFIED SURGEON WITH ADVANCED SKILLS IN WEIGHT LOSS AND FOREGUT SURGERY AS WELL AS MINIMALLY INVASIVE HEPATOPANCREATOBILIARY AND SURGICAL ONCOLOGY

Dr. Shapera is the latest addition to our practice. He is a Board Certified Surgeon with advanced training in weight loss and foregut surgery as well as minimally invasive hepatopancreatobiliary and surgical oncology.

He completed his Bariatric Fellowship at the University of Missouri, Columbia and attended Advent Health Tampa for Robotic Surgical Oncology. Dr. Shapera is a prolific researcher and educator. He has produced and published multiple surgical videos and papers in the management of cancers and weight loss in the past few years, and has presented at numerous surgical conferences such as:
