Eating in moderation is not always the best solution. The is more valdity in eating more “good foods” and less “bad foods” . I was not surprised to find the part where research points to how eating refined carbs (white bread, potatoes and other sweetened products) slow down your metabolism as opposed to whole grain products (wheat, rye, brown rice, quinoa) which do not cause any change.  Other contributors to weight gain over the years are lack of physical activity and sleep, alcohol consumption and smoking.   So, get working on a better lifestyle today!
